Gidara Bugyal Trek

Gidara Bugyal is a hidden gem in the Uttarkashi region of Uttarakhand. Being one of the largest high altitude (12000 feet) meadows in this country, the Gidara Bugyal is twice as big as Dayara Bugyal and Ali and Bedni Bugyal. It takes almost 2 days to traverse the entire length of the Bugyal but surely one of the most stunning experiences.

Most of the trail goes through lush green high altitude meadow booming with flowers by trekking on a gradually ascending but Moderate trail.

Tour Schedule:

• DAY 1

Reach Rishikesh / Deharadun at morning & proceed to Uttarkashi & stay

• DAY 2

Sightseeing at Uttarkashi & acclimatization.

• DAY 3

Sightseeing & reach base village Bhangeli at 7500 ft & stay in village.

• DAY 4

Trek from Bhangeli to Rikoda (5 hrs, 5 km) at 10860 ft & tent stay.

• DAY 5

Trek from Rikoda to Dokrani (4 hrs, 4 km) at 12200 ft & tent stay.

• DAY 6

Trek from Dokrani to Thalotya (3 hrs, 3 km) at 12200 ft via Dokrani Bugyal.

• DAY 7

Thalotya to Thirya at 10 700 ft (8 hrs, 9 km) via Gidara Bugiyal (12500 ft)

• DAY 8

Decent from Thirya to Bangeli (3 hrs, 7 km). Drive to Rishikesh & hotel stay.

• DAY 9

Extra / buffer day for trek / travelling (may use for unexplored sightseeing)

• DAY 10

Morning proceed from Rishikesh / Deharadun to Delhi / Mumbai.

Tour Cost: Will be declared in December (Ex. Bhangeli (Base Village))

Includes tent stay during trek, experienced trek leaders, trekking equipment, First-aid kit, permits & food costs during trek till Bhangeli & stay at Bhangeli

Cost Excludes:

Buffer day expenses, Travel to & fro Bhangeli & any other expenses which are not mentioned in package fee.
